The 25 Project

The day before my 25th birthday, struck with thoughts of the past and the inevitable future, the idea to start the project came: What if I documented each day of my 25th year in a journal, so at the end of it, I would have 365 entries to look back on?
"The great thing about getting older is that you don't lose all the other ages you've been." - Madeleine L'Engle
This is how the 25 Project began. Each day I wrote in a physical notebook and recorded my daily thoughts, dreams and goals. Then I took select snippets of those daily entries and published them on this blog.

"My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was sixty. She's ninety-seven now, and we don't know where the heck she is." - Ellen DeGeneres
I am no longer 25, but I wanted to keep this blog going. Here, I will post scraps from my personal journal, photos I took, quotes I love, art that inspires me, songs that won't get out of my head. This blog is just for me, something of a project between my main blog and my Tumblr, but you are welcome to follow along.

Thanks for reading,

  1. Hi, Erin! I have a project 23 (https://growingcomfort.blogspot.com/2018/09/project-23-year-of-me.html), similar to yours with fewer updates and more reflection. I love the way I get a sense of you from just a sentence or two and am so excited to have found another twenty-something blogger. I look forward to following along!
